Apr 10 Cash dividends were paid to the preferred shares. The last time dividends were declared was in July of 2013

Sep 16 A 5% stock dividend was declared and distributed on the common shares. The market value at the time was $9

Dec 31 Net income for 2016 was $235,000

Dec 31 Other comprehensive income (unrealized holding gain on available-for-sale shares) for 2016 was $45,000
