B$2$B Prospect Research Practice

For this discussion, you are required to choose a real$-$world B$2$B company $($this must be a real, operating business within Alberta that is B$2$B$).$ Once you have decided on which company to choose, then research a company that would be an ideal prospect for the business you chose. For example: if you chose Microsoft as your business, you would then research and select a real organization that would make an ideal prospect for Microsoft $($Bow Valley College would be an example, as this is B$2$B$).$

Once you have determined which business you have chosen and which company would be an ideal prospect for that company, then research three of the most important points you think the prospect would want to know$/$need answered during your first interaction with them if you were a salesperson for your chosen company. Finally, explain how you can find this information and what you believe the answers are, making sure to cite sources.

In your original discussion post, you must include:

A ~$2$ sentence overview of the business you chose, as well as the prospect

List and explain each of the three points your prospect would want to know$/$need answered during your first interaction

Remember to explain what this interaction would be $($is it a phone call, meeting in person, etc.?$)$

Summary of the research you completed to find the three points and what you believe the answers are
