condenses at 333K. The shellside heat transfer coefficient is
11kWmK-1. The specific heat capacity, thermal conductivity and
viscosity of the water may be taken as 4180Jkg-1K-1,0.6Wm-1K-1
and 0.885mPa, respectively. Find the water outlet temperature and
the tube length per pass required for the duty.
c) For the exchanger described in Q2 b), calculate the effectiveness.

The following correlations apply for convective heat transfer in tubes:
