Calibration of Volumetric Pipet and Graduated Cylinder. (You will make 3 trials to test reproducibility of your data.) Step 1 Weigh a clean, dry 10mL or 25mL graduated cylinder as accurately as possible. (NOTE: Handle the graduated cylinder with crucible tongs to avoid contaminating it with oil or moisture from your fingers.) Record the mass of the cylinder on the REPORT FORM. C A UTION Always use a suction bulb to fill a pipet.
