below and answer all the questions that follow. (10 Marks)

i. Estimate total number of fingerlings which will be needed from Mukasa Fish Hatchery to
stock all the ponds at a stocking density of 5 fingerlings ?m2, taking into account 10%
compensation for mortality. (3 Marks).
ii. Estimate harvest of fish in tons if average weight of individual meal size fish at harvest is
6g.(3 Marks )
iii. Estimate total amount of money that will be raised by all the schools if their fish were sold
at K54.28kg to their surrounding communities (2 Marks)
iv. If these schools will be stocking their ponds twice a year. What will be the number of
fingerlings required from Mukasa Hatchery per annum and estimated cost if each
fingerling is 80 ngwee per piece (2 Marks)
