Develop the prob- ability mass function p(0), and determine P(O = 1), E(0) and V(O). ii. A continuous random variable N, is defined as the number of pre-existing medical conditions in an individual in the general population. The random variable N is modelled using a normal distribution with mean 0.8 and variance of 0.36. Estimate the probability that an individual in the general population has exactly 1 condition. Show your reasoning, and comment on the appro- priateness of the normal distribution model, and the probability estimate in the specified context.
