Consider the Venn diagram below. Each of the dots outside the circle represents a professional who was questioned in a sociologist's survey. In this survey, 5

professionals were asked about their marital status and whether they had a bachelors degree or higher.

The professionals are labeled with their names: Brenda, Caroline, David, Jay, and Zach.

The two events represented in the Venn diagram are:

• EventA: The event that a professional is married.
• EventB: The event that a professional has a bachelors degree or higher.

Brenda and David state that they are married. Caroline and Zach state that they have at least a bachelors degree. Jay states that neither category applies to him.

Place the dots in the appropriate event given the information above (you may not use all of the dots), then determine if the events aremutually exclusive.
