In this role, the entrepreneur has certain responsibilities in leading the venture and in leading employee work teams. His role as an entrepreneur, is also associated as being the manager of his enterprise. A manager is important to organizations because he exhibits critical thinking to getting things done. Among others, a manager coordinates and oversees the work of other people so that organizational goals can be accomplished.

Requirement and Instructions: As the manager of your own business, prepare the following parts of your enterprise. These are:

1. Background of the business which include the product or services. This can be a reiteration or the refined background of the business in your prelims, or a new one.

2. Type of Planning that the business will adopt. Describe the type of planning and explain why such type of planning is applicable to your business.

3. Organizational Structure. This will include the appropriate job titles or positions the business will actually need on its operation. For each job title, give a brief job specification (qualification), and brief job description (duties & responsibilities)

4. Identify the type of leadership yourself as the manager of the business will employ. How will you handle your employees using such type of leadership?

5. As the manager of your business, how will you motivate your employees to be more productive?

6. Provide a concluding paragraph on how planning and controlling will work in your business.
