I do not have the solution to this. My math 140 book does not have even answers just odd.

Assume that the bacteria continued their doublings (as described in the text) for a total of 2 hours, at which point they were distributed uniformly over Earth's surface. How deep would the bacteria layer be? Would it be knee-deep, more than knee-deep or less than knee-deep?
