An individual predisposition towards the need for affect (NFA) and/or the need for cognition (NFC) is a potential covariate that might affect attitudinal change. Individuals with higher tendency for NFA usually seeks out emotion inducing activities (Wolf et al., 2017). They tend to attribute more affect based in their thoughts.
