Bought this on a discount for my Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting studies and it showed up pretty quick. The textbook feels solid and looks brand new, haven’t had time to go through a heap yet but seems like it’ll make my assignments easier for sure. Chill pick for now.

Landed on this auditing book after a mate in my accounting class reckoned it helped heaps, and I grabbed it at a discounted price, which was sweet. I’ve just spent some time on Chapter 7, the one about sampling and surveys. Man, that part really cleared up stuff I found proper confusing before. Normally, when I hear sampling in audits, it sounds like a headache – like, how do you even pick what to check without checking everything? This chapter breaks it down in simple-ish steps and throws in some examples that actually made sense instead of jargon overload. Getting through it felt like having a lightbulb moment where I thought ‘Oh, so that’s how auditors avoid testing every single transaction but still get a fair grip on the numbers.’ Tried explaining what I’d read to a friend who’s also doing auditing, and a bit later I caught myself using those sample sizes and persuasion points in a group project—it helped kinda a lot to sound like I really knew the drill, which felt good. Now, I reckon this spot in the book’s worth knuckling down for in any course or if you’re wanting to understand real auditing work, not just the theory stuff. The book’s printing and cover were good, if a bit on the plain side, but that barely matters when the content clicks. Might wish it had a few more Aussie examples to really hit home for us, but apart from that, it’s a handy guide. Would urge others juggling audits or thinking about that to grab this version if they can nab a discount like me. Pretty happy with the buy!

Needed some solid help for my course ACC 302: Principles of Auditing, so grabbed this book with a discount. Haven't covered everything but the bits I've read make the concepts easier to get, especially the auditing processes. The examples feel a bit old school but still help a bunch. Book quality’s decent and the order arrived quicker than I expected, which was a win. Feels like it’ll do the trick for study and assignments but not super flashy or anything. Perfect for those just starting or in the thick of auditing classes like me.

Had to grab this for my Universal Business School Sydney unit and thankfully got a discount so that was sweet. The chapters I’ve read so far aren’t too hard to follow and they explain the auditing methods in ways that actually make sense for people new to it. The book arrived quicker than I thought it would, not damaged either, and the paper feels decent quality which is nice. Haven't finished it yet but looks like it’s gonna help heaps with our assignments and notes especially since some of the examples have made tricky parts of class a bit less rubbish. Good enough for now!

For my course ACC 301: Auditing Principles and Practices I grabbed this on discount and it’s been pretty handy. The examples really help break down the stuff that’s usually hard to get your head around, especially the auditing steps and testing parts. It’s not fancy but the pages feel good quality and it looks fresh so that was nice. Haven't finished all the chapters yet but what I've read makes assignments easier to handle. Could perhaps have more relevant Aussie stuff but to be honest it still helps heaps knocking out those tricky topics. Easy enough to follow when flat out with uni.
