A school decides to develop a computer application to facilitate storage and retrieval of relevant information of its athletic meets including: Contestant name, class (e.g. 1D), grade (e.g. A, B, C), sex, house Event-grade, sex, game (e.g. 200m sprint, shot put, 4x100 relay), type (e.g. heat, semi-final, final) Athletic events are classified into track events and field events. Track events are those running races whereas field events include long jump, high jump, triple jump, shot put, and discus, etc. Track event contestants aim to finish their races as fast as possible whereas field event contestant aims to achieve the greatest distance. Each student, affiliated to a house, is allowed to join as many games as she likes. For each game, a score will be awarded to the individuals as well as to the house according to the following rules: Gold medalist - 10 points to individuals; 5 points to the house; Silver medalist - 8 points to individuals; 4 points to the house; Bronze medalist - 6 points to individuals; 3 points to the house; Other contestants - 2 points to the house for a contestant's appearance in each match (to encourage participation) Note that the results table does not store any explicit information about which results being associated with the champion, 1st runner up, and 2nd runner up of any events. As an example, if a student manages to get a bronze medal in an even after completing the heat, semi-final, and final, she earns 6 points for herself and 9 points (3+2+2+2) for her house. Note that there could be matches with only finals but no heats and semi-finals.
