Based on the discussion below, provide an additional insight into why Jean Piaget has stood the test of time and suggest another individual who influenced or who was influenced by Jean Piaget, and explain why.
"For a good reason, Piaget is still talked about in psychology today. His contributions to cognitive psychology have been immense in the field's growth and influenced by theorists like Alfred Binet, who worked on intelligence and measuring intellectual ability. Piaget believed children's cognitive development is aligned with their interactions and experiences with the environment and their effort to make sense of it all. His research on object permanence in children helped us to understand that children develop cognitive awareness over time (Chandler, 2009). He also did a great deal of work on conservation in children. He learned that children have difficulty thinking about their experiences in the context of others until a certain age. With this idea, he developed the theory of egocentrism. It's no doubt that Piaget made a significant and lasting impact on the field of psychology and specifically child psychology and cognitive development (Benjamin, 2019). So much so that most practitioners find themselves either expanding on his work, like Lawrence Kohlberg and Linda S. Siegel or trying to find evidence to refute it. Through his work on cognitive development, he influenced the ideas of thinking processes, problem-solving abilities, and moral reasoning."
