Task:

Share analysis can be as complicated as you want it to be. There are thousands of data points available to collect and consider. Sifting through this information may or may not be useful to making a timely, sound decision to buy, hold, or sell. While you shouldn't take shortcuts in investing, there are a few key (and easy to understand) indicators that nearly anyone can use to quickly analyze a share. Performing a fundamental analysis requires you to look at items that are a little more qualitative Some of the items that should be considered in fundamental analysis of a company include: Profit margins Place in the industry/sector Growth potential Balance sheet Business model Political situation, and how it might affect the company (Corporate Governance)

Required: You must select an annual report for the year ended 30 June 2023, for an Australian listed company and perform the fundamental analysis using ratio analysis from the Australian investors Association PDF (please download form the assessment page) and You are asked to analyse the annual report and provide a report with a recommendation to potential investors as to why they should or should not invest in this company. Also discuss the key issues associated with the principles of risk and return in investment decision-making

The report should be of no more than 1500 words .Specifically you are to analyse the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash flow Statement and Corporate Governance Report, to provide a recommendation to potential investors on reasons to why they need to invest in the business .

This is not an essay, but a business report. As such there will be little if any academic references needed in the report. It should be prepared in a professional manner, with clear sections for analysis of the financial statements within the annual report.
