Based on what you have learnt in this class, what statistical model can you use in each of the following research questions.

.)Do body weight calorie intake, fat intake, and age have an influence on heart attacks (yes vs. no)? To answer this question the researcher would measure body weight, fat and calorie intake, as well as age, and whether the patient got a heart attack during the time-frame of the study. The analysis can then show whether the independent variables have an effect on whether to get a heart attack or not (dependent variable).

.) The manager of a physician's office wants to know which factors influence patient satisfaction. Patients are asked whether they are unlikely, somewhat likely, or very likely to return for follow-up care. Relevant predictors include employment status, age, and proximity to office.

.) The manager uses how likely a patient is to return as a response variable. The categories in the response variable have a natural order from unlikely to very likely.

.) People's occupational choices might be influenced by their parents' occupations and their own education level. We can study the relationship of one's occupation choice with education level and father's occupation. The occupational choices will be the outcome variable which consists of categories of occupations.
