Amazon is one of the web giants that groups together in GAFAM (Google, Apple, Facebook, Amazon and Microsoft). It was founded by Jeff Bezos in 1994 in Seattle. At first, Amazon focused on selling books on the Internet, before expanding into other products and becoming what we know it today. In 2007, the largest online shopping site went public with just $18. Its market value is currently estimated at more than $500 billion. As a result, its CEO, Jeff Bezos, becomes the richest man in the world with $200 billion. In 2020, while the entire commercial sector is facing the health crisis, Amazon finds itself with a 44% increase in its turnover. The latter therefore amounts to $125.6 billion. This feat by Amazon has led to mass digital transformation vis--vis other merchants. Nevertheless, Amazon is no competitor for the thousands of Internet merchants. Indeed, it has become one of the most requested marketing tools thanks to the hard work of its CEO, its marketing director and its 1.5 million employees. Amazon marketing is the sum of several techniques to boost brand awareness and sell related products on Amazon.
