Your overall goal will be to produce miniature literature review by the end of Activity 4. The review must use a mixture of at least 20 peer-reviewed journal articles and/or grey literature; moreover, all sources should be at most seven years old.

Exercise #1: Preparatory reading.Review the following sections in Garrand (2017):

  • Chapter 1:PRISMA, PROSPERO, and a Journal (take notes regarding the PRISMA flowchart for tracking documents because you will create a PRISMA flowchart).
  • Chapter 2:Source Materials Defined, Different Kinds of Source Materials,andAnatomy of a Scientific Paper: Finding What You Need in a Typical Research Paper
  • Chapters 3 and 4: All sections.
  • Appendix B: All sections.
