Beta Alpha Psi is an “international honorary organization for Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, and Business Analytics students and professionals”. The club works on a students-helping-students model, where student leaders run professional development, community service, and networking events for the benefit of their fellow students. The organization has over 300 chapters worldwide, operating under the same umbrella but with its own unique features. The University of Auckland chapter was established in 2008 (refer to www.bapuoa.org). It is supported by the University through the Department of Accounting and Finance and AUSA. The chapter has generally been successful in attracting a top-performing cohort of students who initially participate in the chapter as members and later support the group as alumni.

Recently, the student leaders of the chapter have expressed an interest in getting a better understanding of the effectiveness of the chapter and ways its performance can be improved. One of the leaders
proposed that the chapter should develop a program evaluation. They have approached your group to
help them with this task.
Required:
Part A:
Your team is required to submit a report to the student leaders of the University of Auckland Beta Alpha Psi chapter with the following:

a) A program logic model depicting the theory of change behind the Beta Alpha Psi chapter.
• Include an explanation for any assumptions made and external influences.

b) An evaluation plan that can be used to conduct a program evaluation for the chapter. Your plan should include:
i. The object of evaluation
ii. Evaluation objectives/ questions to be addressed
iii. Evidence required
iv. Analysis methods
