Big technology companies such as Google and Microsoft utilize organized general apologies to lay off massive amounts of employees.

Recently Big tech companies have been laying off massive amounts of employees. Many employees aren't aware of their lay off until they arrive at work and or find out abruptly. These companies are letting their employees know they have been laid off through paid organized apologies via emails. Please explain in 5 paragrafs why this is unethical and an insensitive to the employees of these companies. How does this effect the company reputation as well? Please cite any sources used.
