Biogas has the potential to be a significant renewable energy source that can be used globally. Biogas is

primarily composed of methane $(C{H}_4)$ and carbon dioxide $(C{O}_2),$ with trace amounts of hydrogen sulphide

$(H_2(S)),$ ammonia $(N{H}_3),$ nitrogen $(N_2),$ and hydrogen $(H_2).$ The significant quantity of non$-$combustible carbon

dioxide $(C{O}_2)$ gas in biogas not only decreases its heat$-$producing capacity, but also lowers the speed at

which flames propagate and narrows the range of concentrations at which it can ignite. Furthermore, when

biogas is utilised as a fuel for transportation vehicles, the storage cylinder tanks experience an increase in

the volume occupied by $CO2$ gas. This leads to higher energy consumption for compressing the biogas

and consequently results in an indirect rise in operational expenses. Hence, the removal of $CO2$ from

Biogas is vital. Gas absorber or scrubber is installed next to Biogas tank. The biogas is entering the

Scrubbers at rate of $1500k\frac{g}{h}$ and in contact with a solvent to capture $95\%$ of $C{O}_2.$ The Biogas composition

data for the inlet absorption process to carry out the design calculations are given in Table $1.$
