Brian Trippen wanted his house painted. Brian met Greg Birch, a local university student, and Greg agreed to paint Brians house during the spring break. A month before that time, Greg informed Brian that he had an opportunity to go to Hawaii and that he would NOT be painting the house. Later, Brian hired Wendy DAddetta to paint his house for $4,000. Wendy then assigned the $4,000 claim to Fran Dobbin, who served notice on Brian about the assignment. When it came time for payment, Brian told Fran that he would NOT pay because the paint was peeling off his house. Fran said that this had nothing to do with her and demanded payment from Brian
