69 - The walkthroughs described by the author can be an incredibly powerful tool if those people mentioned understand the importance and why their presence is required. If scrap is being generated because operations personnel are improperly or incompletely trained, then it is the company's responsibility to fix the problem and the employee should not be penalized. The goal is to eliminate scrap, not assign blame.
