Brockville General Hospital provides comprehensive care for patients and operates on four campuses: Charles Street, Garden Street, Front Street, and the MacDougall Building. One of the primary objectives for the redevelopment is to consolidate the various campuses to the Charles Street site while granting Ontarians access to quality healthcare close to home. The Redevelopment of the Brockville General Hospital will provide 22-bed spaces in the complex continuing care, palliative care, and rehabilitation department. Create six new vehicular access points to the hospital and renovate existing buildings for increased support services. The project involves a combination of new construction and renovation, which will include the Relocation of support facilities, an expanded Acute Mental Health & Addictions Program, Increased inpatient beds in the Complex Continuing Care, Palliative Care, and Rehabilitation departments The construction of a four-storey addition of 175,000 square feet and approximately 20,000 square feet of renovations.
