  1. Develop and check first draft of newsletter
  2. Research and draft all of the required content as discussed at the meeting and confirmed in the

Ensure that the newsletter is developed in your own words, is written in clear and concise English, conforms to the Workplace Information Procedures and Style Guide, and includes all of the required graphics, including the company logo and photo of yourself.

When you have completed the newsletter, save the it according to the naming conventions and in the required folder as documented in the Workplace Information Procedures and Style Guide. Note that at the end of this assessment task, you will be required to provide a screen shot of the final folder and files. The files should show all versions of the newsletter from draft to final.

In completing the checklist, you should also consult the Grow Management Consultants Workplace Information Procedures and Style Guide to ensure that you have met all the requirements.

When you have completed the checklist and made changes to your draft as necessary, save an updated version of the newsletter in the relevant folder. Scan your document checklist and upload it into your folder too.

Finally, send the first draft of the newsletter and your checklist to the Operations Manager (your assessor), as attachments on an email. Your assessor will provide you with feedback that you will need to action in the final part of this task. The feedback will be in the form of tracked changes and/or comments, as well as some additional information to contribute to the area that you identified as additional for the newsletter.
