Building a persons network is all about establishing professional and ongoing relationship with other like minded individuals. There are many ways to do that weather it be through taking the opportunity to establish new contacts through conferences, Volunteer opportunities, and networks like like LinkedIn. My short term goals for networking have always been to get contact information with people that I meet and try to build my network. My long term goal would be to develop more of a presence on LinkedIn and stretch out my networking potential further As I am not 100% that I want to focus on nursing as my educational goal, if I do decide to pursue it there are several professional networking opportunities.
