Business Administration Finance Question:

A week was coming to an end a John looked forward to getting some time off to enjoy the beautiful settings that surround the little village he now lives in. These hopes came to an abrupt end when Lucy stormed into his office. As A&S is a listed company the market has its eyes on just about every move they make. During the last couple of days, Lucy and Arnold had participated in meetings with investors and finance people at a posh hotel outside London. Lucy with all her virtues and abilities lacks a proper understanding of how the stock market works and she was now totally bewildered as most of the discussions she had participated in had been well "over her head". What concerned her the most was theories about how the price of a single share moves compared to the market with respect to risk and return. There also seemed to be different types of risks. She was really confused by this and uttered that either it rains or not. To make things worse there seem to be some models for how to assess this phenomenon and on top of that skeptic claims that reality is somewhat more complicated. This is as far as she got in her rather disoriented summary of what she really did not understand when she stopped and said: I will make a speech on this topic.
