Business Statistics (BUAD-213)

Discuss the top three topics, concepts, or procedures you learned in this class that could be of benefit to you currently or in a future job. Explain why.

Example:

In my opinion the top three topics that could benefit you currently or in a future job are percentage distribution, graphical representation, and describing data. I chose these three concepts because they all have to do with organizing, presenting, and ultimately understanding data. No matter what job you have you will need to be able to interpret data and present it accordingly. Percentage distribution or relative frequency distribution is important because most people or businesses understand a percentage easier than a bunch of numbers. Being able to convert data or tables into percentages is crucial in a large variety of jobs. I chose graphical representation because most people find and understand a graph of data better than a table or the data in general. It is important to know which graph to use at which times. Being able to describe data is extremely beneficial. You may have a table or graph, but if you don't understand the data and are able to describe it to others then it is pointless. All three of these topics/concepts are beneficial both for your current life and for the future.
