This involves an engineer going to the client site and inspecting the fire protection equipment The company is seeking to streamline its systems for record keeping, therefore enabling the business to offer their clients a better service. The aim of this project would be to develop a system allowing data collection during site visits to be entered onto a handheld computer. The data, once collected, would be synchronized with the company's database. The data would then be used to keep the clients informed of the engineer's visits and the retest date for equipment. The project would be expected to cover the following areas: data acquisition using handheld devices; synchronizing of data; a database to store data captured; a PC based management tool for the data-captured database. Discuss the criteria you would use to determine the process model that this project should follow and make a recommendation of a suitable process model. (13 marks)
