C++ Lab help!

Hello: Our teacher have recently posted a lab that requires us to use string functions, I am quite bad at string functions so I need some help with this, please write in understandable C++ language and explain. Thank you!

Our teacher reminded us to use overloading functions, toupper and getline in this function, so it would be nice if you can show me how to use those as well! Thanks a ton!
