• Money has time value-Revie existing literature on the concept of time value of money, its significance in financial decision making, and its application in Wal-Marts financial strategies.
• Risk-return trade-off-Discuss relevant studies and theories regarding the relationship between risk and return, analyze how Wal-Mart manages their trade-off in its investment decisions.
• Cash flow as a source of value- Examine scholarly works on the importance of cash flows in assessing the financial health and value of a company, evaluate how Wal-Mart manages its cash flows.
• Market prices reflect information- Explore the efficient market hypothesis related to understand how market prices reflect available information and discuss how Wal-Mart utilizes this principle in its financial decision making.

Your literature review should briefly state, from one sentence to one paragraph, what you learned about your topic from each cited and referenced source of information. Identify any quoted information. You could highlight important findings, and/or important differences in research methods used, such as different time periods studied using different sources of data, with different assumptions made by the researchers. At least 5 researched references should be utilized. Among them, at least two should be academic research journal articles.
