Can someone please put a comment on this post like agree or compliment the professor ask us to put a comment into our classroom post in a blackboard So please help with this two 1,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, A marketing manager has a huge responsibility in my opinion. They have to try and keep up with the new trends that can come and go within a couple weeks time. They have to consider what their target market is and then try and base their products off of them. Marketing managers need to have a outgoing, gregarious, and spontaneous personalities. In concert with these traits, they need to be highly focused, detail-oriented, and very conscientious of meeting budget restraints and timelines. They also have responsibilities such as putting together estimates and budgets for marketing campaigns, submitting them for approval, working with advertising agencies, being involved in negotiations, preparing sales and advertising contracts, and reviewing advertising material such as print material, TV commercials, and online advertisements.creating promotional information to drive business. A marketing manager is also responsible of the following: - coordinating multiple channels of marketing strategies - managing budgets for marketing campaigns - testing new marketing opportunities - building relationships with media outlets - directing social media strategies - evaluating performances of marketing campaigns - troubleshooting marketing campaigns that are not performing well - monitoring and improving SEO - managing employees and third-party vendors - addressing customer service problems - coming up with new ways to promote new products - educating employees about industry marketing trends - analyzing customer feedback from social media platforms - analyzing advertising returns and reporting to upper management and so on and so fourth, the marketing manager has a lot on thier plate at all times. But with all of the work that goes into this job it can also be a rewarding job, the marketing manager can see their success within the company by how well the company is doing at times. 2,,,,,,,,, According to the textbook, "Supply chain performs activities required to create and deliver a product or service to consumers or industrial users"(Kerin & Hartley, 2020). What exactly are the required activities? At my workplace, I work with Supply Chain when dealing with vendors or third party suppliers. Supply Chain is responsible for minimizing risks, negotiating contracts, and promoting product brands. Anytime I need to onboard, terminate or renewal contracts with suppliers, Supply Chain is involved. They make sure to get the best contract price for services at the market rate and ensure the proper legal contracts are established. As for marketing a product, Supply Chain acts as the liaison between the company and any outside vendors to ensure the proper product/service distribution occurs. Supply Chain must be very familiar to the company products inorder to market it to potential investors or vendors. Supply Chain must build a customer relationship and establish an order management process. Every business needs a solid Supply Chain to ensure the engagement occurs between business operations and its potential vendors and clients. According to Outsider, n.d., the six benefits of having Supply Chain to the company are: Identifying, and being able hold responsible, someone in the company for the complete customer interaction cycle Improving overall operations and creating new competitive advantages Establishing and monitoring aggressive company goals and objectives Improving efficiency and alignment to the company value proposition by taking a comprehensive process approach and to establishing a feedback loop to key managers in the process Management information that's accurate and objective oriented Improved revenue and profitability resulting from a market-driven orientation, and guided by a process discipline
