"The difference between demand and quantity demanded is that demand is the willingness to buy a product at any price, and quantity demand is the willingness to buy a product at a specific price. The real life example that I believe we can all relate to is gas for our vehicles. The demand is increasing or staying constant but never stays as one or the other for long. As cold weather comes, gas demand goes up, leading pricing to not be as high (depending on gas truck availability). When the supply of gas drops, as the demand rises, prices rise as well."
