Can someone show me in ssps how to find the following:
The assumptions testing table from SPSS would include tests for:
-Normality
-Homoscedasticity
-Linearity
-Independence
The main inferential statistics output from SPSS would include tests for:
-Means
-Variances
-Correlations
-Regression
-ANOVA
-Chi-square
-Non-parametric tests
the variables used are quiz1, quiz2, GPA, and final.
i have attached a link to the data here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1y5cJqWnJ1QDOtb-lXSrPoIfWYRswBVzeIQQHdW4tUyo/edit?usp=sharing
I'm not sure if this helps but here is some data i already have as well as hypotheses:
Quiz 1: skewness=1.232, Kurtosis=2.097
Quiz 2: skewness=1.067, Kurtosis=1.786
GPA: skewness=0.858, Kurtosis=1.051
Final: skewness=0.967, Kurtosis=1.183
The final grade and GPA results are within an acceptable range. quiz 1 and quiz 2 are not. the normality assumption was violated for quizzes 1 and 2.
The data represent a teacher's recording of student demographics and performance on quizzes and a final across three sections of the course. Each section consists of 35 students (N = 105). There are 21 variables
***walking me through the steps and helping me decide which tests to run would be greatly appreciated. I cannot figure out SPSS for the life of me, but I want to!***
