Each supplier may supply multiple products and a product is supplied only by a specific supplier..

For each product,, the product name,, product description (sshown as product feature s in the mock - up)),, product image s , number of units in stock,, number of units on order,, and date of t he order entered,, the lead time (tthe number of days from the order date to the delivery date guaranteed by the supplier)),, unit cost paid by the company,, uni t sale price,, discount rate if t he product is currently on sale,, and the total number of units sold up to date.. The company assigns a unique product code for each product..

To be able to track each food package of a product,, each package is assigned a univ ersally unique bard code.. The code can be used to identify specific packages if they are recalled because of food safety..

Its customers can securely store their credit card information in the company's database.. The customers can then use the unique payment code gen erated by the company for online shopping instead of providing their credit card information to the online stores.. The online stores send the payment code along with customer charges to the company.. T he company in turn passes the charges to the actual cred it card companies to process after verifying the payment code..

The company want s to have a web page to allow customers to create an account and store credit information in a database . The mock - up screen of the web page was shown in Figure 2.. The company p rovided the following descriptions of the credit card management business :

One customer can only create one account identified by the customer's email address . A customer can register only one email address.. Note that p asswords are in general not unique..
