ABC group is one of the largest distributor and marketer of pharmaceutical products located in Izmir and applies effective logistics operations, which enables it to transport imported materials to its distribution centers and deliver to all its markets all over Turkey. The company has suppliers through the world in more than a hundred countries. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, company starts to distribute surgical masks, surgical gloves and chloric spay. This requires the company to import these new materials from all over the world and distribute them to its markets. Such international operations bring the company about consideration of logistics operations, incoterms and payment terms for recently purchased items. Main aim of company is to adopt strategies to make its transportation of goods more cost effective, fast and convenient for both inbound and outbound logistics operations. While justifying your decisions, you have to mention on several aspects of these trade transactions, such as, urgency (please do not forget to consider transit time), all costs related to your decision, risks involved and any mechanisms/tools/actions to reduce these risks, previous relations and balance of power etc. You also need to prepare sales contracts for each product including all details based on your decisions and annex the contracts for the consideration of executive committee. After the approval of executive committee, you need to prepare a list of all documents related to the trade and transportation. You also need to make a list of contracts to made and parties to be contacted during transportation process. These two lists will be delivered to your team who will conduct the operations. Note that, this list must be on the basis of your decisions on incoterms and payment terms. You also need to make sure that unnecessary documents are not listed since they create cost and waste of time. You need to submit a report including executive summary, annexed 3 contracts of sales (one for each product) and lists of documents, contracts and parties of those contracts. Your report must be a well formatted word or pdf document with 5 pages; 1 page for executive summary, 3 pages for 3 contracts, 1 page for lists
