It is important for managers and organizations to behave ethically because it is a direct reflection on the standards and ethics on the organization as a whole. Practice of unethical behavior can create poor reputation in the community, among business partners, customers and staff. Practices of unethical behavior can result in poor performance, decrease the viability and sustainability of a company and decrease revenue and sales Competitors constantly enter the business arena and customers now have choices. Customers are going to spend their money and time on reputable businesses, people are going to spread the word, good or bad regarding their experience which can make or break a company. It is important for managers and organizations to behave ethically is the goal of the company is to succeed and survive over the course of time. My apologies for mentioning this, I personally do not have a negative opinion about Donald Trump, his practices of alleged unethical conduct and practices have the potential to end his political career.
