This combined total equals 3,196,466 employees working in jobs with fewer than 20 employees. In 2017 15,940,772 Canadians in total were working for enterprises of any size meaning 20.05% of Canadians work for companies with 20 or less employees. Looking at the statics, Prince Edward Island has a higher percentage of employees working for companies with 20 or less employees.
