Since its inception in 1982, citizens have been able to challenge government laws and actions that violate their rights and freedoms as set out in the Charter. The Supreme Court of Canada has issued landmark decisions based on the Charter, some of which have been considered controversial; in particular, where these rulings have caused existing laws, implemented by elected officials, to be changed.

For this project, make a power point that demonstrates understanding of a section. The section is ( Freedom of Conscience and Religion ) of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
