Cardo Security Agency hires security guards to be deployed to its various clients. As a qualification for hiring, the security guard must secure his own flashlight, logbook, ID sling, pen, and whistle. Uniform on the other hand is provided by the security agency but will deduct the actual cost to the wages of the security guards. Furthermore, if a security guard cannot provide those items enumerated, the security agency will provide for the guard all these items but expense of which will be deducted from his salary. Can the security agency legally deduct the expenses from the wages of its security guard?
