Career Module Information (critical thinking questions to address--please respond to all and reply to peers as expected in other discussion threads):
1) As an interview candidate, how seriously do you take your social networking information that is posted? Is this something you have "tweaked" as you near the end of your college career?
2) If you were the boss, imagine you discovered one of your top interview candidates had an unprofessional website or inappropriate information listed on social networking sites. What would you do?
3) Do you have your professional materials ready and maintain them up-to-date to submit for application if a desired job would arise? Provide details.
4) If you were the boss, what would your reaction be if you were reading a cover letter and/or resume that had several typing and grammatical errors?
5) If you are new to the working world, what questions do you have for your peers who have experience with employment? OR....if you are already part of the workforce, what is one of the biggest pieces of advice you can provide to your peers who are seeking employment in his/her chosen field for the first time?
This should be an interactive discussion. Please take these questions seriously as you prepare for the workforce or consider other opportunities!
