Case 3: The product of Sur Manufacturing LLC passes through three distinct processes to completion. From the experience it is ascertained that loss incurred in each process is 5%, 4% and 8%. In each case the percentage of loss is computed on the number of units entering the process concerned. The loss of each process possesses a scrap value. The loss of Processes 1 and Process 2 are sold at RO 2 per ten units and Process 3 sold at RO 1.5 per ten units. The output of each process passes immediately to the next process and the finished units are passed from process C into stock. Indirect expenses are RO 10,000 are apportioned based on output of each process. 15,000 units at the cost of RO 15,000 have been issued to Process 1. The output of each process is - Process 1 is 14,000, Process 2 is 13,600 and Process 3 is 12,512. There is no work in progress in any process.
