Case: Anita is an online BSN student. She works full-time in the ER in a busy intercity hospital. She began her new online class two weeks ago. She thought she would really like the challenge of working online and the flexibility in the schedule, but she has a hard time keeping up. Unfortunately, she also found herself procrastinating and waiting until the last minute to do her assignments.

Working five, eight-hour shifts a week, Anita has to juggle school, work, and family responsibilities. Initially, she thought she could handle it; however, her boss just told her they are short-handed on the evening shift and she will have to start pulling some mandatory overtime.

Anita is starting to panic. When she gets home from work she is so tired. Also, there are many distractions with family and friends, so she is not getting her work done in the evening as she had originally planned to do. Anita thought maybe she could try to get it done on the weekends, but she likes to spend her weekends with her family and just enjoy some downtime. Now she's feeling the pinch and doesn't know what to do.
