Case Brief #2: Rainbow Warrior Arbitration

A Case Brief is one page to one and a half pages in outline form, in which you describe briefly and precisely how the court addressed ALLof the following questions, giving only the most relevant information, based on the final judgment or decision of the court for the case assigned, referring to information in Week One onhow to brief a case:

1. What is the full name of the case, the name of the court, and the year date of the final decision by the court?
2. What are the most relevant "FACTS" of the parties to thecase the court needs to consider?
3. What is the single most important "ISSUE" for the courtto decide, identifying the question under international law?
4. What is the "HOLDING" of the court, identifying the court's answer under international law and the reason why the court reached this decision or judgment?
