CASE:

Netflix aims to raise money from investors to compensate for the costs of the potential new features. One of the biggest Netflix problems is its lack of diversity regarding its anime genre giving that they have below 100 shows. We suggest that Netflix buy a royalty program for over 1000 anime series that will cost them $100 million a year to solve this issue. Netflix will ask for $1 - $1.5 billion from the investors as a plan for the next 10-15 years with other costs include uploading the series on their platform and marketing costs. Currently, Netflix's packages are priced between $8 to $14 a month, but we plan to increase the plans' prices by $2, making the packages price between $10 to $16 a month. Furthermore, there are more than 70 million anime viewers globally, as we expect between 2 to 5 million to join Netflix because of this investment. Currently, Netflix has over 195 million paying viewers as of 2019, with a revenue of $20.8 billion. With this addition and the price addition, we suggested that revenues will increase by a range of $22 - $ 24 billion. This will possibly account for a 10% 20% increase in revenues from the previous year. Overall, this addition will diversify the Netflix genre options for current and potential new viewers. Current users will have access to more than 1000 anime series, while new users will have the opportunity to explore the diversified Netflix library.
