CASE SCENARIO Your company Tech4Life (T4L) is in the middle of a business negotiation to test the possibility of selling or licensing a cutting-edge confidential biotechnology to the Canadian government. This highly valuable technology is developed by 14L and is effectively used to produce vaccines. Your company T4L has been requested to provide information about this sensitive technology to a potential buyer - the Canadian government. T4L must specifically disclose how the technology works and its major components. T4L, the technology provider, Is willing to provide this information to the Canadian government but only on a confidential basis and only for purposes described in the NDA. ASSESSMENT INSTRUCTIONS 1. Students will work in groups of 4 to 5 and create a binding Non-Disclosure Agreement based on the scenario provided above (remember, you may choose an alternate scenario after consulting with your instructor). 2. The assignment will be submitted in Word format and must be formatted in the appropriate manner for a legal document of this type. Submissions must be double-spaced and typed in 11pt font. Submissions must be no more than 5 pages long, not including appendices or cover page. Final submission of the contract document should be done by only one member of the group. Be sure to include the names of all team members on the cover or front page of your submission. Submissions may contain additional appendices it appropriate. 3.
