Case Scenario:

Your team has been seeing steadily improving success for $10\mathrm{.}5$of the last $12$months$.$ If you finish the year strong, the team will receive a federal grant. The grant is only available to organizations of a certain organizational size, based on effectiveness. That is$,$the candidates have to demonstrate $$proof of concept$$to be authorized for the grant, which can then help that organization to scale$-$up$.$The grant is structured in such a way that it could be used from anything from previously unpaid salaries to new expansions of operations. Although everyone is working voluntarily, the team previously decided that the grant money would be split evenly if it was received. Each member could then decide how to use their portion of the money. Some might keep it as a reward for their work; some might invest in the organization to continue the work. There are eight members of the team.

The team runs an organization that collects unsold food from farms, local grocery stores, and restaurants, contacts organizations that could use it immediately, and quickly coordinates the transfer of food. To move quickly enough to prevent the food from spoiling is difficult, but cooking some of the food was an innovative, value$-$added step that Paula created that helps to attract a recipient when the food is reaching a health and safety deadline. Preserving cooked food by keeping it warm or freezing it takes more energy and equipment, Cost more money & Complicates transportation.

For the last $2$months$,$ Morgan has consistently worked at least $60$hour per week. Due to lack of sleep and excitement, Morgan accidentally totaled the rental delivery truck on the return route and luckily they were okay. The team had to take out a loan from the bank to cover the vehicle damages and the loan amount is equal to one person$$s share of the grant money. The loan must be paid within a Month or the team will be uneligible$/$disqualified because it shows fianicial instability. Kerry hasn$$t been working often since she has another job to afford her bills such as her car payment, student loans, and health insurance. Although, she still lives paycheck to paycheck.

Kerry caught Morgan making another mistake and they began to argue. Kerry was about to ship a half truck of pineapples to a pizzeria, But they were supposed to go to a barbecue festival. Kerry saw the invoices as the loaded truck was pulling away, She ran across the parking lot, almost throwing herself in front of it to get the driver's attention. The conservation went$-$

Kerry: $$You almost got me killed! Everyone knows pineapples don$$t belong on a pizza! What were you thinking?!$$

Morgan: $$It$$s your own fault. If you would be here more often, then you would know not to let the truck pull away until you have confirmed the destination! I wasn$$t the one who moved you in front of the vehicle! You could have simply called the driver!$$

Kerry: "You put in$,$you must be going crazy if you think it was my fault! I won Hog Heaven Queen at the barbecue festival four years ago! The distance between the two would$$ve crossed the food safety threshold, and they would$$ve had to pitch the whole truck!$$

Morgan: $$It was half a truck. We should$$ve sent a full shipment. It$$s going to make more emissions now! Way to be unsustainable!$$

Kerry: $"$At least next week, I'll be on the beach."

Kerry: "I booked a reservation with my boyfriend to celebrate our anniversary. We$$re spending a week at the beach. Do you have a problem with that? I already called$-$off work from my other job and will put in extra hours for a few weeks when I return to make$-$up for it$.$
