Case Studies Linear Programming (20 Marks) Lexicographic Goal Programming is used to solve a series of Linear Programming Model. This programming is us wen. a goal has to be attained on priority basis. Revenue budgeting is being used to decide budget instead of a speci system in budget. Nevertheless, revenue budget lays emphasis on the rising limitation of revenue while estimati budget. The decision makers are limited due to the rising power of capital and also the awareness of imminent restrair and fear of capital resources. The goal is to raise the salary and allowance of the workers to cut down the operati cost, to raise the revenue expenses, to raise the capital generated internally, and the cut down the overall budget. Sor of the problems are: insufficient allocation of funds and income, ande absence of importance of order. The insufficie allotment occurred as the quantitative allotment models were not used with power. It is seen that the allotment capital were not being used in the right way as a result the capital allotted to the labs is drawn in the maintenance hostel. Various other changes also happen. In fact, the funds allotted to the tertiary organizations are more often managed properly. The University of Owerri suffered and the progress of the institution came down. There is absence active teams for monitoring budget, and so the budget can function in any manner. If the active teams to monitor bude were present, the problem of mismanagement and the wrong use of it would come down. Sundaram (1978) and L (1972) agreed that the various features of target programming are, that it allows ordinal solution. According to ign (1978), this tactic called Goal Programming, frequently symbolizes considerable progress in the modeling and evaluati of the multi objective problems. This shows that this area lets the systematic evaluation of a number of multi objecti problems which could include linear or non linear operations in the incessant or separate variables. This is my successful in the research area. The goal programming developed due to Charnes and Cooper, who suggested that model and method for dealing with some linear programming problems where the contradictory goals of manageme Involed as limitations Goal programming method has been used for a number of programs. Goal programmi technique has solved the following problems: planning production in a ship repairing company smoothing production just in time' production atmosphere. The problem occurs when the model does not show the real inclination of t decision maker. Non-inferior solution in some cases many not be essentially better than the lesser solution mainly int case of natural resource problem. Answer the following question. What are the problems while estimating the budget? (Hint insufficient allocation of funds and income, Q1. and absence of importance of order. The insufficient allotment occurred as the quantitative allotment models were not used with power) (20 Marks) A Network Rail 13 https://www.isbm orginlexamsoft/exampaper_final php?id=68700 23 4/11/22, 11:33 AM Exam Paper Jin. T.Panglima Polem Peunayong Banda Aceh, and was started in the morning at 7 and went on 6 in the evening The technique of getting geometric data for parking space and the present parking space capacity is taken by measuri the area and space allocation of parking for each vehicle. The data collection for each vehicle which enters and leav the parking lot along with the parking duration is taken after making walking field survey along the parking for a counting the vehicles and the time duration of parking. According the field survey data, model evaluation is done involving the demand of user parking lot to average of accumulation of parking and of the duration of parking. T average of accumulation of parking is calculated after each 15 minutes for every vehicle. The solution to this problem to increase the space capacity at Jalan Panglima Polem in relation to the parking space availability, and meet requirement of parking lor for each vehicle. The average of accumulation of parking in every 15 minutes for every vehit is calculated from the average accumulation divided by the sum of average accumulation for all the vehicles a multiplied by the capacity of the parking space. The outcome of this study shows that the formulation of maximizing t allocation of parking lot gives considerable atious results when the formulation regards different wewpoints of the nee and demands of parking. Maximizing problem occurs on fulfilling all the demands and needs of parking without a possible area in the maximization. The most significant feature comes within the formulation before taking considerati the other features to look for actual maximum outcome for the problem. Answer the following question. What remedy was taken for solving the problem of parking space at Jalan T. Panglima Polem? (Hint to Q1. increase the space, the average of accumulation of parking in every 15 minutes for every vehicle is calculated from the average accumulation dhided by the sum of average accumulation for all the vehicles and multiplied by the capacity of the parking space.)
