The jobs they have accepted usually go through 2 work centers and uses 2 different machines. In the latter part of 2022, they have been receiving complaints that most of the jobs are not complying with the deadline. In 2019, they have used Johnson's rule in scheduling their work as required by the shop manager Mr. Adam, who resigned in 2022. After Mr. Adam, it was Mr. Keith who managed the shop and he always says that the shop attends to clients based on First come , First Serve basis. However, Mr. John, who was a trainee in the shop that time, suggested that they have to process the jobs based on the due dates. At present, below are the jobs that they need to complete. Answer the following Questions. Investigate which is the best method/ sequence that will yield the earliest completion time and least idle time.
