Case Study: Mr Hassan is a Divisional Head in a leading Omani company. He was the first employee of the paint division. He set up the entire unit from zero to a million riyal earning unit just in a span of ten years. He is very hardworking, dedicated and an ambitious employee. He is a very good leader and a role model for his sub ordinates. They love to follow his instructions and are willing to stay for extra hours in case there is a need and if Mr Hassan needs. He has created a very good team for his division. They occasionally go for lunches and dinners together where they relive themselves of daily stress and solve minor conflicts, if any. Once in three months, Mr Hassan also organizes family outings for entire unit whereby everyone joins with families. This leads to a more cohesive team. Everyone cares for each other in his team. They are like a family. Recently, one of the employee of the team Mr Nasir has started showing negative signs of behavior. He screams at his colleagues in office. He handles accounts since eight years. Mr Hassan identified certain small amounts of money going out of the division without any valid reasons or on fake identities. Mr Hassan tries to dig in and finds out that Mr Nasir's daughter is extremely sick and he is in need of money. Soon Mr Hassan identifies that a huge amount of money has vanished from the petty cash of the ongoing government project. Questions: 1. What is the ethical dilemma of Mr Hassan in this case? 2.
