One threat we assess in security is fringe groups whose members act out violently towards corporations and are thus labeled as single-interest terrorist organizations. Sometimes we can be faced with the prospect of employing someone who may have an affiliation with a questionable group and thus increase the risk of creating an insider threat of our own making.
